The Trappists make a product called semolin leche (cq), a cream wheat breakfast food that is sold at the monastery. Areas of the monastery are open to the public for tour, along with the church, located in a picturesque cool mountain area near the city of Jarabacoa, located 70 miles north of Santo Domingo.
